Job Description:

To provide support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for assisting special education students during transport to and from school and/or special activities; ensuring orderly entering and leaving of bus students; maintaining a seating chart and ensuring the safety and sanitation of assigned vehicles.

Must be 18 years of age

Working Functions/Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally the job requires 90% sitting, 5% walking, and 5% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.

Typical Duties:

Loading and unloading students safely

Maintain order and proper discipline 

Maintain daily records
